Various marketable crops can be grown and nourished in difficult climate conditions with conservation agricultural (CA) systems. This gives families access to balanced diets and supports farmers in managing their risk by having produce year-round.
Below are examples of typical crops grown, harvested, and sold at the HGBF | CNTA.
Food crop: a starch that is sweet or salty depending on its ripeness; it is used to cook Fufu or is boiled to eat with soup.
