The Grow Ahead Farmer-to-Farmer project is being implemented in partnership with the Howard G. Buffett Foundation Centre for No-Till Agriculture (CNTA) in three communities in the Atwima Kwanwoma district of the Ashanti region of Ghana. The beneficiary groups are from Nweneso, from Trabuom and from Afrancho.

OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAM

The project aims at introducing conservation agriculture to members of the three farmer groups in the three communities through the implementation of a learning plot in each of the communities. Members of the beneficiary groups are expected to go through one complete season of engagement with the CNTA and would be required to implement same on their individual plots the following season and use those plots to train their neighbouring farmers in the Farmer-to-Farmer Training Programme.
